CareDesk
CareDesk is a company that cares for doctors, but from behind a desk instead of in the patient room. Most of the time we think of the patient interaction in a healthcare setting – not the processes before and after a patient visit. Doctors who see patients are in need of a service to help them operate and manage their practice, so that they can focus on what is really important.
The overall goal of this project was to clarify the message and present a professional brand for clients (mainly dermatologists), staff, and potential employees.
Their existing logo was very basic, with a stethoscope icon that leaned too medical. Also, the website did not reflect the brand strategy. We needed to bring the logo design and brand identity up to date.
The adjectives used to describe the business include: trustworthy, capable, diligent, efficient and responsive.
We aimed to develop a modern brand identity that would appeal to their target audience: medical offices that want to grow and not manage the non-clinical aspect of the practice. Doctors willing to release control of the non-clinical management to an outside party would find this organization to be trustworthy.
Competitors would include management services organizations, billing companies, or HR companies.
We created a unique, futuristic logo design that uses the imagery of a desk (or two), while also combining the letters C + D, paired with a modern typeface. The bright, multicolor gradient is a trendy touch, and speaks to the technology side of the business. The desk imagery, as a callback to the business name, makes it memorable.
A brand new WordPress website was developed that educated potential doctors on their service offerings, and provided a clear call to action.
We rounded out the brand identity package with a business card template, pitch deck presentation design, stationery, and LinkedIn graphics.
