We were honored to help the owner, Ann Mimiaga, develop a name for her new business. The new name alludes to the home, and also works with one of her goals for the future, which is to open up a studio in a small building on her property – the “bungalow”!

Baskets are used often in home organization, but also speak to Ann’s natural, accessible vibe. She often uses natural materials in her projects, and offers essential oil recommendations for a space as well.

After learning about Ann’s business philosophy and life, we discovered that her love of all things natural and the ocean should be the cornerstones of her brand. While the home organization space is full of shiny, clear acrylic, white textures (or lack thereof) – we wanted to highlight her unique qualities and stand out from the crowd.

The logo and brand identity features natural colors and elements, to coordinate with the wood and natural weave elements she uses in her projects. Wood is a huge feature in her designs, as her husband is a carpenter who often builds her custom storage solutions.

The logo features a type selection and style that is reminiscent of a brand you would press into a piece of wood furniture, etc.

Finally, a brand guidelines document was created with logo suite, color palette and typeface recommendations for her upcoming website design.
