Petal & Platter Design

Petal & Platter Design creates customized floral arrangements, platters and grazing tables for all occasions in the San Francisco Bay Area.

All of their boxes, platters and boards are made-to-order and include an assortment of fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, olives, pickles, nuts, dried fruit, honey and jam.

To provide the best service that is customized for each client and event with the freshest sourced ingredients possible, that’s aesthetically pleasing and a work of art.

The adjectives used to describe her business include: gourmet, customized, made-to-order, fresh, and local.

We aimed to develop a refreshed brand identity that would appeal to her target audience of event planners, realtors, vegans, vegetarians, venue/event managers, wineries, and foodies of course!

Her vision for the next year was to event and venue mangers, gain corporate and realtor clients, and gain more local business for large events – we were happy to help her elevate her brand to meet and exceed these goals!

We created a clean, timeless typographic logo suite in a Parisian style face and neutral color palette that would let the amazing color of the food take center stage. The exception was a pop of olive green, that would accent nicely with the olives and pickles in her boxes (ok, now I’m getting hungry).

We developed social media post templates for her, using fonts and colors that would represent the elegant experience of her tables. For the packaging design, unique square business card also serves as a hangtag on her picnic boxes, and the round alternate logo design serves nicely on stickers for her food items.
